NINE

On this date nine years ago President George W Bush was in his 9th month of the presidency, the terror attacks on 9-11 were fresh on everyone's mind having happened a little more than two weeks before, people were weary of opening their mail and finding anthrax that most of us hadn't heard of weeks before`...

but more importantly for this story a boy and a girl at a Texas high school really liked each other.

The two would later go to a few high school dances together...

take a few trips together...


experience a few graduations together...


fall in love...


get married...

build a life and a home together...


and have a ton of fun along the way!



But it all began on this day nine years ago, when a 16 year-old boy asked a 17 year-old girl to be his girlfriend.

It's all gone by so fast that I cannot believe that it's been nine years! Happy dating anniversary to my wonderful, amazing husband!!
