The men from our Sunday School class were put in charge of smoking 250 pounds of brisket, several boxes of hot dogs, and chicken breasts for the entire church for lunch. They stayed at the church all night keeping an eye on the briskets, playing video games, and hanging out.
After cooking all night, the boys were pretty exhausted on Sunday morning, so we probably didn't enjoy the tailgating party quite as much as everyone else who had enough sleep, but it was still fun! I'm proud of our guys for sacrificing their Saturday night and Sunday to do something great for some many people! It was so selfless for them to do a great thing for hundreds of people and the brisket was yummy!
