I saw a cute picture on pintrest of a girl holding boots over her belly, but mine didn't turn out as cute as hers.
Another pose that looked cute on pintrest..

My biggest irritation with this picture is the bottom of my shirt. I bought this shirt like two weeks ago and it was plenty long enough. When I put it on Monday, not so much. I had to borrow one of husband's undershirts so you wouldn't see the blue belly panel on my jeans. Most angles the undershirt wasn't very apparent, but from this angle it really was!
This picture was a test shot when husband was trying to get the camera on the tripod situated and I wasn't paying attention to him. He likes this one so I had to include it. haha
Some of the following pictures I actually really liked, but they all have on thing in common, a sun spot that comes up right over our faces! I didn't notice the spot when we were outside taking the pictures because it was hard to see on the little screen on my camera, and I actually thought we got a few good pictures. I was so bummed when I discovered the spot on every picture. wah-wah

The picture above is probably my favorite of the day and I really wish it didn't have the spot on it! The one below is probably a lot more representative of how we actually are! ;)
And of course we couldn't leave Henry out!
And finally, the next one is one of the only ones without the sun spot, and I don't really care for the picture, of course!
Have any of you ever had any luck taking pictures of yourself? Do you know how to photoshop sun spots out? haha
** A couple of weeks ago I mentioned my love for my new Erin Condren life planner, (the thing is seriously AMAZING), Doodle Deals is having a deal today where you pay $25 for a $50 voucher you can use to purchase Erin Condren products. You can go here to get yours. :) In addition to the Life Planner they have adorable stationery, holiday cards, notepads, and all kinds of other fun stuff. I got two of the vouchers today, one to order a Christmas gift and I think one for more goodies for myself. ;) **
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
Jennifer

The sun spot is really a bummer because all of those pictures are so beautiful! Hopefully you can get the sun spot out. You look so good!
ReplyDeleteI need to get a tripod! The only time we've taken a picture of ourselves, we propped up our camera on several baskets... It didn't work so well and we were confined to one spot.
ReplyDeleteNo idea on photoshopping the sun spots out... Those pictures are great, though!!
Oh no! Stupid sun spot! You guys look great and the pics came out awesome- without that sun spot. Can't wait to see the picture you chose :) and congrats on the pregnancy and cute belly!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, through pinterest, congratulations on your new bundle of joy headed your way I love the cowboy boot idea.
