To top it off, he then put himself to sleep and slept for 1 hour 15 minutes for his first nap of the day! This coming from the same child who took a 6 minute nap one day last week. That's right SIX minutes. Then he was awake and ready to go about his day!
After he woke up from his nap, I figured out what he was up to though, he was stock piling some sleep to get energy to do this:
For the record he started out playing in the middle of that quilt on the floor...
But then with all his little strength he'd push up on his hands and feet...
Get his whole body off the ground...
And scoot backwards, all while making the craziest faces!
He got into a rhythm for a few minutes and was really moving...
And he was quite proud of himself!!
Until he backed himself into a corner...
And no matter how far off the ground he got, he couldn't move any further...
So, about .02 seconds after I snapped this picture he had a complete meltdown!
I had really hoped we would be out of this house by the time Henry was mobile! It's already been interesting enough trying to pack with a 5 month old who stays put! ;)
